The Passing of Jim Underwood (@JMichaelTX)

Hey Folks,

I’m sad to report that Jim Underwood (@JMichaelTX) died the morning of August 04, 2021 while scuba diving off the coast of Belize.

Jim was a good friend of mine for about seven years and a prolific poster on the Script Debugger forum since July 2016.

Jim’s brusk Texas manner ruffled feathers on occasion, but no one can question that he had a good heart or that he spent endless hours giving freely of his time to help others.

His loss will leave a big hole in the Mac Automation Community.

I’ll miss him.

Jim has no remaining family, and his long time friend has organized a GoFundMe campain to return his remains home to Texas for burial and to pay other expenses.

So sad, I didn’t know Jim personally but I can’t believe we won’t see his post here anymore. I always appreciate his post. RIP Jim.

Thank you Christopher for letting us know. He is the second “important” internet acquaintance I lost in the past 2 weeks. It’s very saddening.
