I had to set up a new user on my mac. I was able to get my templates, clippings and scripts for the old user, but none of my other customizations (keyboard shortcuts; text substitutions and other preferences).

So my question:: --Is the preferences file or file where these are stored that I can just copy over to the new user?

The preferences file is located at ~/Library/Preferences/com.latenightsw.ScriptDebugger7.plist. You will still have to re-enter your registration number(s), but everything else should be preserved if you copy this file.
