I’m getting this error when I try to notarize an applet:
Your Apple ID account is attached to other providers. You will need to specify which provider you intend to submit content to. Please contact us if you have questions or need help. (1627)
→ Script Debugger 7.0.13 (7A125)
→ Mac OS 10.13.6 (17G14042)
→ SD Notary 1.4.7 (56)
You only have to run it once to get the value. In many cases, though, it’s usually just the 10-character value in parentheses after your name in the developer ID menu. Just check that it aligns with the account you expect.
Finally got SD Notary to work on my laptop. (Sill on square one with my desktop)
Turns out I had bad certificates. I found the following on AppleSupport forums, and that did the trick.
Now I’m really cooking!
Identifying the bad certificate:
From your Keychains app select Login
From Category select Certificates
Find any Apple Certificate that has the blue +
Double click on the certificate.
Expand the Trust
It’s messed up then the “When using this certificate” is set to “Always Trust” (indicated with the blue +)
Fixing the bad certificate:
Set it to “Use System Defaults” and close it.
(You’ll get a pop up. Type in your password to update settings.)
Close KeyChain.
Go back to your project, clean and run. Problem should have gone away.
If that didn’t work then go back to Keychain and just double check and see if there are any other Apple certificates that are set to Always Trust and repeat the process.
