Odd little problem with file type

The filename extension ‘scpt’ is not valid for this document type, which should be saved with an filename extension of ‘applescript’. Do you correct this discrepancy?

I was working on a script for most of the day. I’ve saved it numerous times with debugging mode on and off.

I had been step debugging, stopped it the script and turned off debugging mode and hit save and I got this filename extension error message.

Message would keep coming back each time I saved, after clicking proceed.

I’ll try again after updating.

–> Script Debugger 7.0.1 (7A47)
–> Mac OS 10.13.3 (17D102)

If you can send me the document, it would be helpful.

We’ve been over this several times. The issue has been that you have document’s with their stationary bits set, which causes this problem to occur. It appears to me that this is all happening behind SD’s back and the only solution is to remove the stationary bit on the documents.

Anyway, as Shane suggests, please send us an example and we’ll look at it once more to make sure some other bug isn’t at play.
