Had to install a new user and reinstall SD. I used it lightly for a few days in trial mode, then registered with serial number. Everything went fine, except I noticed that one of the menu items (Enable Debugging) still had the crescent moon icon, and the Script Debugger menu had several “Purchase Script Debugger” items.
All issues went away after relaunching. (So very minor thing)
