I was working on a fairly complex script and switching between debugging and run mode, when out of the blue I get an alert from SD, something along the lines of
Script could not be autosaved due to problems. Resolve the problems to continue
(I cleared the dialog and don’t remember the exact wording)
At the same time there was a progress window. I cleared the autosave dialog, but the progress window persisted. I clicked Stop in the progress window, but nothing happened.
I could not save the script, but I could copy all text an paste into a new document, which I also could not save. (I pasted it into a bbedit document just in case).
I got a sample from Activity monitor and made a short movie, but all it shows is the progress window.
After force quitting SD it relaunched (no crash reporter) and the scripts I had been working on reopened (including the new one I had pasted the script into).
As for the one that started it all, I was compiled, and it ran and saved with no problems.
Lemme know if you wanna see the sample or the movie
