I don’t know if this has been reported yet, but if you’re working on a script with the extension “.applescript” and save it as a compiled script or compiled script bundle, with a new, valid and correct extension, and you keep working on that script every time you try to save it you keep getting the dialog telling you that it has an invalid extension, even though it doesn’t. If you click Continue As Is it saves, but the dialog keeps coming up with every save.
There seems to be a flag set somewhere that doesn’t get reset when you save in an appleScript format with the correct extension.
I notice this after a crash when an uncompiled script opens with “.appleScript.”
Not sure if it happens in SD8, but I can test when I get access to that mac.
