When I display a variable or result containing a date class as best, I get a very nice looking analog clock and a calendar. The problem is the analog clock doesn’t indicate AM or PM. If this is an easy fix (like an “am” on the clock face, or “6:00 am” below the clock, that would be great.
I see this too. I’ll check if there is some option for asking for AM/PM to appear.
Turns out there is no means of displaying AM/PM information in the graphical date/time display. You’ll have to fall back to Source mode to get that piece of information.
It’s an odd oversight, but it looks like it’s been fixed in 10.13.

Wrong. It shows am/pm if you don’t show the date/calendar – once you add that, the am/pm disappears.
