contentsOfDirectoryAtURL & High Sierra

Before High Sierra, the method contentsOfDirectoryAtURL: was respecting the finder hierarchy.
As it happens, in alpha-num ascending order.

Now (10.13.6) it returns an all messed list of files.
Is it a known issue or did I missed some setting somewhere?

Nothing’s changed with file manager: it reports stuff in the order it’s given. What probably has changed at your end, though, is your filing system — HFS returned entries sorted, whereas APFS does not.
