When working on a script, I frequently place it on the desktop for easy access. After working on the script for some time, a new file appears on the desktop with the script’s name and “(autosaved)”. Is there any way to prevent this? I am meticulous in keeping copies of my scripts and do not need autosave or file versioning. Thanks for the help.
It will disappear if you save (or close) your script. Auto-saving cannot be turned off.
