I am very new to the Mac OS and am struggling through to notarize and distribute my app on the Mac platform. I am trying to notarize the launcher for my program that was built in Unity without Xcode.
Using SD Notary, it seems that the app was successfully notarized and stapled, however, when I try and run the app from the Notarized folder, I get an error saying that the app quit unexpectedly and I am given some choices to open again, report, or ignore. If I choose open again, I get a message saying that the file can’t be found.
From looking at the log created during the error, it seems like there is an issue with the GarbageCollector of Unity. Does anyone have any insight into this issue?
