I teared up when I saw the retirement announcement for Script Debugger. Script Debugger allowed me to do truly amazing things which helped me secure a reliable job at my company for 29 years. Although I’m not writing new AppleScripts today our company still builds tens of thousands of advanced charts a year with our AppleScripts driving the original application Mark demoed all those years ago at MacWorld (if I recall correctly): Adobe Illustrator. To say the scripts I built with Script Debugger put my kids through college would not be hyperbole.
Thank you for your hard work, innovative minds, and dedication to the community for all these years. Lives like mine were made dramatically better by what you brought into the world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and best wishes to you both on a pleasant retirement.
